Don't worry, it's simpler than it looks. TNEA is a centralised, fully online process run by Anna University's admissions body. The flow is: you register online, upload your marks and certificates, and a rank list is published based on your cutoff (Maths + Physics/2 + Chemistry/2, out of 200). For TNEA 2026 the rank list comes out on July 1. After that, counselling happens in rounds — when your rank band is called, you log in, fill up to 100 college-branch choices in your preferred order, and the system allots you the best choice your cutoff can reach.
